In 1998, the Deutsche Bank launched an international design competition titled “die Deutsche Bank für die deutsche Bank”/ the Deutsche Bank seeks the German Bench. My entry “Vis-a-Vis” , one of the five prizewinners, was premised on the theme of the german reunification of a few years proir. East and West Germany symbolically take their place on the same seat. One nation but two cultures facing each other for a united future.
