INTARSIA
The word ‘intarsia’ is derived from the Latin word ‘interserere’ which means “to insert”. This word is the inspiration behind the design. Intarsia incorporates practicallity and transportability in a simple design for a demountable table.
The table top is physically attached to the legs with a visible decorative and functional metal cross. With the help of a counter-sunk screw, the legs, arranged in two separate paddles, are held securely in place under the worktop.
Thus the tables can be flat-packed for transportation, and easily assembled at home.
